Olga Palagia, Prof. of Classical Archaeology at the U of Athens,
believes the tomb has to do with the battle of Philippi.

The excavator, Katerina Peristeri, insists it is 4th C because of the lion.

(My Chrome translator calls her Katerina Pigeon, which is not at all
fair. Olga is a friend, and our olive oil is produced by her husband at
Mistra, so I have strong feelings here.)

She has fared better than Appius Claudius Pulcher, whose praenomen Google
has translated as 'deionized'.
